The College of Education now has new “WINDOWS of ADMISSION” to the Teacher Education program (TED). The month of February is ONE of TWO windows announced for the academic year. The next window will not be until September!

You MUST be admitted to TED in order to:

• Take EDPC 3300 and/or SCED 3317
• Take your state (TExES) teacher certification exams
• Student Teach

In addition, as of Fall 2014, you must PASS your TExES certification exams BEFORE you can STUDENT TEACH!

Therefore, if you are planning to:

• Take EDPC 3300 or SCED 3317 in Summer 2014 or Fall 2014
• Take your state (TExES) teacher certification exams
• Student teach in Fall 2014 or Spring 2015

it is IMPERATIVE that you turn in your TED Application Packet before the window closes on February 28th.
